SPONSOR a COW

Sponsoring a rescue cow is one of the best ways to support our ongoing work to provide a lifetime of care and love to abused and neglected farm animals.

Our cow rescue efforts focus on male Holsteins ("dairy cows") on their way to slaughter. These gentle giants grow to 1,500 pounds and it costs
$250 each month for our volunteers to feed them hay, grain and multiple supplements. That doesn't even begin to cover medications or veterinary bills, which can be $500 a visit. Your monthly donations will cover all of the basic necessities that each of our amazing animals need.

As a cow sponsor, you'll be invited to West Place for a private tour, photo opportunities, and a meet-and-greet with your sponsored animal. You'll also receive a full animal biography; photos, videos, and annual updates; and a cumulative year-end receipt for your tax-deductible donations. For each year of sponsorship, you will receive updates, photos, a tax-deductible letter, and entry to our visitors weekends.

Your sponsorship also provides a steady stream of support and budget relief that allows West Place to continue welcoming needy animals to our sanctuary. We appreciate your help!

Jensen was our first cow "slaughter intercept" case. We worked in conjunction with Behind Your Milk to prevent him from going to slaughter. He would love a sponsor to help provide him with the best possible care.

Jared

It was a tiny miracle that Jared even made it to West Place. This little guy was born underwight, malnourished, and very sick. His medications were not working and he almost died several times. He's still tiny for his age and will require a lot of specialized care, but he is safe, happy, and the perfect sidekick to Jensen.

Collins is the most recent cow rescue. We again worked in conjunction with Behind Your Milk who pulled him from slaughter. He was a tiny, skinny calf but we've worked hard to get him healthy and happy. Now, he just needs a sponsor!
