We are SO proud of Wendy for being the recipient of the "Best Friends Award" from the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association. This award is given out to a non-veterinarian each year - at their Annual Meeting reception - for excellence in animal care. The only other awards given out were to a veterinarian and a CVT for their excellence, so Wendy was in very good company as she was awarded alongside other talented and dedicated professionals.
Several of our volunteers got to attend this great event, held at the Audrain Automobile Museum, and we mingled with some awesome individuals, and the incoming president of the AVMA even attended. What a great night spent with so many people that support what we do.
