Join us for an interactive and educational tour of the sanctuary, and meet the amazing farm animals rescues who call West Place home. We pride ourselves on tailoring each tour to the interests of the group, and we can accommodate guests of different ages and needs. West Place is now fully accessbile to those with limited mobility!
We've hosted families of all sizes, offices large and small, social clubs and civic organizations, scout groups, and even bachelorette parties. Sanctuary tours are great for birthdays, anniversaries, school field trips, or dates. You'll want to return year after year!
Each tour will be led by one of our expert tour guides, and you'll have opportunities to feed and interact with the rescue animals. You'll explore the historic 8-acre farm property and walk (or ride) among the lovely gardens and vineyard, ending in our one-of-a-kind Gift Shop filled with hand-made items.
Tours can be scheduled any day of the week, year-round, beginning at 9:30am on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to high demand and the need to coordinate our tour guides' schedules, we ask that you please book your tour at least one week in advance by contacting us.

NEW! Driving Tours

SPECIAL PRICING: $295 (MAXIMUM 5 people)
West Place is now fully accessible to those with limited mobility who are unable to participate in a walking tour. Our new electric vehicle will transport you in style around the historic grounds as you visit with the farm animal rescues. The CRU by Club Car seats up to 5 and offers panoramic views of the sanctuary. The CRU can also be reserved by those who simply want to relax with a beverage while enjoying all that West Place has to offer. Don't miss out on the special launch discount pricing, available for a limited time only!
Group Tours
60 - 90 minutes
$24/adult, $15/kids (12 and younger) - MINIMUM $240
Enjoy a full tour of the sanctuary that is both educational and fun! Meet the rescue animals of West Place and hear their stories. Your tour guide will show you how to safely feed and pet many of the animals who are freely roaming the 8-acre sanctuary. Explore the gardens, greenhouses, vineyards, and pond, and discover how much time and effort goes into caring for farm animals. Group Tours are designed for 10 or more, but we can accommodate smaller groups with a minimum donation of $240 (equal to 10 adults). To ensure you have the best possible experience, tours are limited to a maximum of 25 - 30 people.
Couples Tours
90 - 120 minutes
$275/couple
Our popular Couples Tours include a full tour of the sanctuary and so much more! You'll have a special opportunity to go behind the fence line and participate in a hands-on animal activity. Get up close and personal with our farm animal rescues as you groom a horse, oil a pig, give an alpaca a bath, or hold a chicken. You'll also receive private access to our unique and growing Gift Shop. Your Couples Tour includes a bottle of wine or a four-pack of beer from West Place Farmbrew, and you are welcome to picnic on the front lawn overlooking the Sakonnet River or inside the Flower Greenhouse.

Life is better with chickens! Following the outbreak of avian flu, West Place built a brand-new Chicken House to keep our game birds safe. It's a really nice building and you can hang out inside with feathered friends. Bring your own basket and sit at the bistro table for a private picnic, or enjoy a beverage surrounded by hens, roosters, and other game birds happily exploring their new home. You may be lucky enough to have a chicken sit in your lap, and if you bring blueberries you'll have friends for life. It's a cluckin' good time!
