Join us for polo plus a sanctuary tour!
The Newport International Polo Series is once again hosting its annual All Charity Day Benefit Match. This year, West Place is adding some new and exciting elements to this summer fundraiser!

Think of it as polo+. With the purchase of your polo ticket through West Place, you will:

-
gain access to the reserved West Place chalet to experience a classic 6-chukker match on Sunday, July 14
-
enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages
-
receive an invitation to a private group tour of West Place Animal Sanctuary on Saturday, July 13
-
support the rescue equine, farm animals, and wildlife at West Place

This annual fundraising event gives you an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of fun at the polo grounds AND visit West Place Animal Sanctuary -- all in the same weekend!

When you purchase tickets through West Place, 100% of your ticket purchase and/or donation will help us continue to provide lifelong care to our equine and farm animal rescues.
On Sunday, July 14, experience a classic 6-chukkar polo match from the reserved West Place chalet, which offers cover from the weather and plenty of green space to watch the match. Bring a blanket or chair along with your favorite summertime cocktail and West Place will provide complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Dress is "Newport Casual Chic" so pick an outfit that matches the colorful and exciting action of Newport Polo!

Gates open at 3pm and the 6-chukker match begins at 5pm and will last approximately 2 hours. As the All Charity Day name implies, all proceeds from ticket sales go to West Place Animal Sanctuary when they are purchased through our website.

But wait, there's more!

Prior to polo, you are invited to a private group tour of West Place Animal Sanctuary on Saturday, July 13. Tours leave at 10am and 2pm, sharp. Meet the amazing farm animal rescues during an interactive and educational guided tour of the 8-acre property in Tiverton.

It's all included in your ticket!
Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the polo grounds and at the sanctuary!

See ticket site for inclement weather policy.

West Place Animal Sanctuary is not an animal rights activist organization. We are a 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization focused on rescuing farm animals from cases of abuse, neglect, and cruelty. Polo horses are generally very well cared for and their performance on the pitch is relatively low-impact (no jumping or over-bending). The risk of injury is minimal due to tendon boots and other preventative measures. The Humane Society of the United States has no records of cruelty or abuse of polo horses. As a small nonprofit experiencing growing demand for our services, West Place is grateful for the opportunity to raise much-needed funds and connect with our neighbors on Aquidneck Island.
