West Place Animal Sanctuary in Tiverton, RI, has introduced a new electric vehicle to offer guided driving tours, making the sanctuary accessible to visitors with mobility challenges. The quiet, eco-friendly CRU cart seats five and allows guests to explore the grounds and meet rescued farm animals without disturbance. Founder Wendy Taylor says this addition opens the sanctuary to everyone, enhancing the visitor experience. Tours are available by appointment, with a special launch discount running through the fall.
